Executive Director

As Pierre’s mother, I realize first hand how important continuing Pierre’s legacy of love and generosity is. I strive everyday to keep his spirit alive as he is a constant inspiration to me.

Jennifer received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Missouri-Columbia where she double majored in Political Science and French. After graduating, she worked in Paris at the Enrico Navarra Gallery, followed by work at the fashion house Céline. Jennifer moved to California and was a real estate agent in the Oakland area for 12 years.

When Pierre was diagnosed in 2013 with neuroblastoma, she cared for him full-time, spending countless days at both UCSF Benioff Oakland and San Francisco. Working with Pierre, Jennifer discovered ways to brighten the day of hospitalized children to enhance leisure activities and pain management therapies. She is passionate about helping others and especially carrying on Pierre’s work to help other children.

Jennifer’s interests include decoration and design, fashion, art, refinishing furniture, remodeling, cooking and entertaining. “As Pierre’s mother, I realize first hand how important continuing Pierre’s legacy of love and generosity is. I strive everyday to keep his spirit alive as he is a constant inspiration to me.”
